We are inviting CVs from underwriting candidates with minimum 3 + years’ experience with multi underwriting proficiency in general insurance administration of Insurance policies by verifying Application forms, follow ups on premium payments and policy documents., addition, Deletion and Renewal of policies.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluated new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks and premiums.
  • Provided recommendations on individual or group insurance plans.
  • Prepared underwriting reports and updated insurance forms.
  • Prepared insurance documents (policy documents, certificates, endorsements, schedule, invoice, etc)
  • Ascertained that all file documentation complies with underwriting and authority level standards, and passes all audits
  • Reviewed new and renewal business requests in order to determine insurability based on corporate guidelines and standards
  • Responsible for authorizing reinsurance of policy when the risk is high or declining excessive risks
  • Determined liability and documented the claim file with the data obtained from interviews with persons associated with the claim, accident report form, recorded statements, and police reports
  • Opened, closed and adjusted reserves in accordance with company practices designed to ensure reserve adequacy and accurately paid claims based on policy provisions.
  • Performed onsite inspections to negotiate repair estimates and identify potential fraud issues
  • Supported on personal/commercial losses for field investigations and reviewed work performed by vendors
  • Maintain formidable relationships with corporate and individual clients to influence them on New Business acquisition of all other commercial classes of insurance.
  • Focus on client’s retention through constant follow up and also review renewal terms for discounts/ revision in terms when required.
